As an ABA Therapist, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, to implement behavior intervention plans designed to improve their social, communication, and daily living skills. Your role will involve working under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide one-on-one therapy sessions, collect data on client progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinical environments. You will use evidence-based ABA techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families will be essential in ensuring the success of therapy programs.
A successful ABA Therapist is patient, observant, and passionate about helping individuals achieve their full potential.
